You could do worse than High Life. Much worse. High Life is a type of beer I would label as "American Legacy Beers," to distinguish them from the Bud Lights etc. that dominate the market. Old Style, Pabst, and Schlitz are other nice, simple beers for all your low-brow occasions.
Yup. I'll take MHL or MGD over, say, Budweiser any day...
